FOR ALL PRODUCTIONS
• Qualifying on-island spend includes: pre to post-production, equipment, services and labour as well as above and below the line costs.

• Zero taxes on equipment imported temporarily for the production.

• 100% exemption from Customs Duties, Customs Service charges and Value Added Taxes on any materials or equipment imported for the production.

• Use of Government properties free of cost.

• Fast track approval of work permits for non-local workers.

• One stop fast track approval of all projects.

ADDITONAL INCENTIVES FOR ELIGIBLE PRODUCTIONS

• Hotel accommodation and transportation for 3 persons for a 3 -Day Familiarization trip for explorative purposes for eligible productions that have applied and paid for the Filming Permit and proof of hiring of local crew for the production ahead of the scout.

• Services of a Location Scout during the 3-Day Familiarization trip paid for by Government. These 3 days can utilized entirely during the trip or split between the trip days and a pre-scout.  Any scout services needed beyond the 3 days will be paid for by the client/foreign production company.

• Government financial contribution to accommodation, food and beverage expenses on Nevis for imported crew and talent of up to US $150,000 per production (minus alcohol). This incentive is paid directly to our preferred list of local providers and does not include any expenditure in St. Kitts. N.B. The Nevis Film Commission reserves the right to accommodate talent/production team and crew at different accommodations.

• The Incentive also does not cover gift shop purchases, resort/hotel activities or spa treatments through the selected accommodation for talent and crew.

• Fast track approval of work permits for non-local workers.

To be eligible for the additional incentives the production must:

• Hire at least 5 local personel (cast or crew)
• Commit to at least two of the Deliverables for productions listed below.

DELIVERABLES FOR PRODUCTIONS

• Nevis Film Commission to be mentioned in the credits with logo in credits as well “Filmed in Nevis” to be included in the credits.

• Social media credit and mentions

• Behind-the-scenes photos & video for promotional use

• Where applicable permission to interview cast and crew on the experience of filming
on the island for promotional purposes.  This can also include shout-outs from cast and crew.

• Delivery of a copy of the final product for archival purposes unless permission for screening is given.

• Delivery of shorts clips or the trailer of the final product for promotional purposes

• Permission to screen final product privately for local crew or permission to be included in local Arts Festival.
